South Hill Driving Instructor Training
We pride ourselves on providing a personal training package which will be tailored to your individual needs.
We aim to facilitate your learning to ensure you are able to pass each of the three examinations set by the driving standards
agency.
| Part one |
The 100 question theory
test you have 90 minutes
to answer the questions
and you must achieve a
score of 85% |
Hazard perception you will
be shown 14 film clips and
must spot developing
hazards to pass you must
score at least 57 from 75 |
| Part two |
This test includes an
eyesight test you must be
able to read a number plate
from 90 feet. |
Pass a driving test of an
advanced nature a very
high standard of driving is
required |
| Part three |
Test for instructional ability |
This test lasts for an hour
and is in two 30 minute phases.
To instruct pupils at different
stages in their training you
must pass both phases in the
same test to pass |
THE COST OF THE ASSESSMENT LESSON IS £50.
THIS WOULD BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FULL COST IF YOU DECIDE
TO PROGRESS AND COMPLETE THE COURSE.

SOUTHHILL SCHOOL OF MOTORING is an established driving school which will enable trainee instructors to observe actual driving lessons as well as practice during their training.
ONE TO ONE all training is planned for each person individual needs and on a one to one basis. This course is suitable for people who do not wish to train in a large group.
We aim to be flexable in your training, we aim to assist you to train around your current employment and commitments.
